Mirchi Bhajji - Chilli Fritter

Ingredients
- 2-3 (slit)Green Chillies ( Big)
- 1 cup or as requiredGram Flour (Besan)
- 2-3 tspRice Flour
- 1 tspCarom Seeds ( Ajwain)
- as per tastesalt
- one pinchSoda Bi Carb / Baking Soda
- Stuffing
- 2Boiled Potato
- 1 TspCoriander Powder ( Dhania)
- 1/4 tspCumin Powder ( zeera)
- 1 tspChat Masala
- 1/4 tspGaram Masala
- 2tspCoriander leaves
- 1/4 tspKashmiri Red chilli powder
- as per tastesalt
Method
- Step 1
For the Batter
- Step 2
Mix all the ingredients for the batter, the besan, rice flour, ajwain seeds and salt with water as required and keep aside. The batter should not be too thick or too thin.

Add soda only when you ready to fry the chillies.

For the stuffing

Mash the boiled potatoes , add all the powdered spices and salt mix well.

Slit the chillies from one side and fill in the stuffing.

Coat the chillies in the batter and deep fry.

For the chilies without stuffing.
- Step 9
Just cut them into halves .

Coat them in the batter .

Deep fry until golden brown.

Drain them on a kitchen towel.

Add chat masala if you like and serve hot.
