Palak Paneer
A yummy creamy Palak Paneer recipe that is delicious and healthy at the same time. Super nutritious spinach along with cottage cheese is a combo that has nourishing goodness!!

Ingredients
- 2-3 tspGhee and oil ( combined)
- 1/4 tspCumin ( zeera)
- 2-3Dried Red Chilli
- 1 bunch ( Blanched and Pureed)Spinach (Palak)
- a pinchTurmeric
- 1 ( finely chopped)Onion
- 1 ( finely chopped)Tomato
- 4 tsp ( finely chopped)Garlic
- 1/4 tspGaram Masala
- 2 tspCream
- 2 pinchesKasoori Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
- 1/2 cupPaneer
- 1 pinchCardamom powder
- for garnishGinger Juliennes
Method
- Step 1
Heat a kadai with ghee and oil.
- Step 2
Add cumin seeds and Red chillies.
- Step 3
Add the chopped garlic and saute.
- Step 4
Add chopped onion and saute until they turn translucent.
- Step 5
Add tomatoes and cook until they soften.
- Step 6
Add the pureed Palak and mix.
- Step 7
Cook for 5-6 mins until the raw taste of palak disappears.
- Step 8
Add garam Masala , cardamom powder and kasoori methi and cook for a min or so.
- Step 9
Add the paneer pieces and cook for a min.
- Step 10
Add cream to finish off and garnish with ginger juliennes.
- Step 11
Serve hot along with rotis / phulkas.
- Tip
To retain the bright green color of the palak after boiling them in very little water transfer the leaves in icy cold water.
