Ingredients
- 6Bombil
- 3-4 tspkokum juice
- 1/4 tspTurmeric powder ( Haldi)
- 1 tspGinger Garlic paste
- 1 tspMalwani Masala or Deggi Mirch powder
- as per tastesalt
- For coating
- 1/4 cupRava
- 2 tspRice Flour
- 1/2 tspMalwani Masala or Deggi Mirch powder
- as per tastesalt
Method
- Step 1
Marinating and Coating the Bombil
- Step 2
Clean and slit the bombil from the middle all the way through so as it make it flat. This makes it easier to fry.

Add salt and keep it aside for 5 minutes.
- Step 4
Then add turmeric powder, Kokum juice, and ginger garlic paste.
- Step 5
Add Red chilli powder and mix well.
- Step 6
Marinate it for a good 15 minutes.
- Step 7
In a plate mix the rava, rice flour, salt and masala for the coating and cover each bombil with the same.

Frying the Bombil

Heat a skillet and add some oil.
- Step 10
Add bombil one by one and fry on both sides on a low to medium flame until they become nice and crisp on top.

Serve hot.
